Thirty years ago this extraordinary 243ft four-masted schooner was designed and built for the single-handed yachtsman Alain Colas. In 1997 she began a major refit and, like a butterfly, emerged as not only one of the world's largest and fastest sailing charter yachts but also one of the finest. Today PHOCEA has an interior of beautiful wood panelling, exquisite David Linley furniture, and luxurious soft furnishings. Her gymnasium, hairdressing salon, sauna, watersports equipment, audio and visual systems are all state-of-the-art, but despite the high-tech provenance her interior boasts a classic ambience to suit all tastes.
