Yachting Operational Support

YPI's operational support will ensure that all your support needs are met. Along with general support, these services include yacht compliance support. We will ensure that your flag and class certificates are up-to-date. We will arrange flag, classification or independent surveys when required and provide a breakdown of the report with advice on further action needed, including code compliance issues.

Compliance Support

For vessels over 500 GRT or as a Voluntary Compliant Vessel below 500 GRT, a flag state accredited ISM (International Safety Management) system will be provided and implemented onboard as required by the MCA, which will include crew training and awareness, DPA (Designated Person Ashore), internal audits and supervision of external audits. Our DPA and assistant DPAs will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of emergencies. Our emergency assistance also includes towage assistance and general yacht support worldwide.

In addition, for vessels over 500 GRT or as a Voluntary Compliant Vessel of below 500 GRT, a flag state accredited ISPS (International Ship and Port Security) system will be provided and implemented onboard, which will include crew training and awareness, internal audits and supervision of external audits. Our team will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for any security issues. A dedicated team of Intelligence Officers and Special Forces personnel will be on stand-by to assist us in case of a serious incident.

Communication Support

A satellite tracking system of the vessel via the Internet will be arranged, so that the location of the yacht can be identified 24 hours a day by anyone with access to the relevant security codes. An updated area security report from our security company will be provided. These reports provide the Captain with ongoing security information from around the world to assist him with his passage plan. These reports can also be provided on a one-off basis.

Our team will maintain regular contact with the yacht to discuss and raise any issues that may arise and offer yacht support as required while a forwarding service will be provided for all ship's mail and packages through our French and UK offices. At the request of the Captain we will provide assistance with arranging berths, bunkers, provisions and other logistics.
